Armstrong Trail Rules

  1. No motorized vehicles with the exception of vehicles regarding the AVLT

  2. Open Dawn till Dusk *
  3. Take proper safety measures:
    1. Helmets are recommended for cyclists and horseback riders
    2. Adjust your speed according to trail/weather conditions
    3. Stay on the maintained corridor at all times
  4. Be respectful of others.
  5. Pack out what you pack in.
  6. CYCLISTS:
    1. Keep to the right except when passing
      1. Warn when passing
  7. HORSEBACK RIDERS:
    1. Keep horses to the side of the crushed stone surface
    2. Clean up after your horse
  8. PET OWNERS:
    1. Leashes are mandatory.
    2. Clean up after your pets.
  9. CAMPING:
    1. Only in designated areas
    2. Only by permit from the ALLEGHENY VALLEY LAND TRUST.
